They could've just added an extra button panel with those boring generic buttons in those 1980s Flohr OTIS elevators instead. At least that mortuary elevator is still slightly less creepy IMO. I once rode a coffin elevator by accident in a funeral house somewhere in the Canary Islands and that was so creepy. The interior was entirely wood and there was literally nobody in the building when I was there!

Waren die Aufzüge die heute von der AWT Anlage genutzt werden früher mal normale Lastenaufzüge oder sind die erst nachträglich mit der Anlage eingebaut worden? Gibt es zwei getrennte Tunnelsysteme für die AWT Anlage und für den internen manuellen Transport von Betten etc.?

Wann die AWT-Anlage gebaut wurde, weiß ich nicht, aber es gab sie schon in den 90er Jahren. Vermutlich gab es von Anfang an eine solche Anlage. Im Haupthaus gibt es zwei Tunnel, wobei auf 02 die Betten und ähnliches gefahren wird und auf 03 befindet sich die AWT-Anlage

Would say these Otis mods for the main tower in the 1980s were modernisations, or just that most of the fixtures got replaced? I would say they are modernisations. Do you think the controller and motors were replaced as well? And also do you know if the modernisation of all the lifts have been complete? Also it seems that the LFI building was completed before the main building? It also seems that Otis replaced the chime for those 1988 Otis lifts, still in their original condition.

the LFI building was probably finished a short time before the main building was. The lifts have been modernised in the 1980's and replaced the chime back then. However, the chimes of these 1988 OTIS lifts is original. These lifts were ultra modern and futuristic back in 1988.

Blood stained lift with doors that don't close till nudge mode is creepier than a blood stained lift then doesn't keep its doors open for that kind of time

At a parking deck where the lift wouldn't close its doors until it went into nudge mode even worse the corner of the lift was in nudge mode even more creepier than the mourtary lift huh?
