Potato Crust Pizza with Brazilian Sausage and Basil

Ingredients
4 pcs Brazilian sausage
4 pcs medium-sized potatoes (washed thoroughly, skin-on)
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
Pyramid salt (to taste)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 drops food colouring
1 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook the Sausages
Preheat your air fryer to 250°C. Place 4 pieces of Brazilian sausage inside and cook for 15 minutes. Once done, set aside to cool and slice into round bite-sized pieces.
2. Prepare the Potato Crust
Wash the 4 potatoes thoroughly and slice them thinly using a mandolin. Place the slices in an air fryer-safe round paper liner, forming a circular shape similar to pizza dough. Make 2 "crusts" and set them aside.
3. Season the Potatoes
Wash and pat dry 1 cup of basil leaves with a paper towel. Set aside. Place the potato crusts in the air fryer, and top each with 1 tablespoon of minced garlic mixed with olive oil. Sprinkle pyramid salt evenly over the potatoes. Air fry at 220°C for 10 minutes until golden .
4. Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1 drops of food colouring until smooth. Set aside.
5. Assemble the Pizza
Once the potato crusts are cooked, remove them from the air fryer. Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over each crust, top with the sliced sausages, basil leaves, and finish with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
6. Serve and Enjoy:
Plate and serve immediately while hot. Enjoy the savoury goodness of this unique, bun-less pizza!
