Oh good to know not too late for potatoes Mike, I have some I can pop in a pot 👍. Hope the tomatoes are all ok, as you know I’m growing all green ones this year 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♀️. I feel it depends on what you use them for Ali, if you were trying for a crop of roasties then maybe its too late but all I want is a few boilies for a texture variant to my stored stuff. The irrigation sure took away the need to have to attend the plot.

Those tomatoes look great in spite of blight. It is a nuisence. I've given up growing tomatoes because of it the last three years have been a disaster....except for two Elisa Craig plants that seem to have some resistance. Good luck with the potatoes. Very effective irrigation system.....it does take care of the watering.

Hello Mike, last year(2023) my potatoes suffered very badly from blite, but this year I have sprayed w 6:27 ith Vitax Copper and it looks like it has worked , fingers crossed.

Good to have feedback on the irrigation system and to see its obviously actually working well. Shame about the blight though could you not use anything on it to stop it spreading? Those Tomatoes at home lol, the triffids are taking over. What is the difference between the 2 locations where the Polytunnel has blight and no problem at home? Quite a big difference in growth and style of growing. Jim.

I think just removing the leaves will help as its nowhere as aggressive in Tomatoes compared with Potatoes. At the Polytunnel its with a lot of other growers, some of them have don't do anything to prevent Blight spreading (like removing infected foliage) whereas at home its all ornamental growing and no-one growing Potatoes to spread the disease.
