I like that they have the quick release to go to tripod and ability to film vertically for creating stories for social content. The payload capacity alone makes me want to get one, but those two features are and awesome add!

"Entry" "Done" Reason: I am an independent filmmaker who makes surrealist comedies, typically I have all of my shots locked down on a tripod because personally I feel like the hand held look creates a more tangibly realistic quality to it. Hand held is viscerally exciting and can be used so well but its not what I want in my work currently because I'm going for a more detached, nailed in, atmosphere. Currently I can't afford a gimble but I really want one to be able to introduce a sense of movement to my work while also maintaining that sense of detachment that I'm after. Some of my favorite examples of this are the long takes in Birdman and/or the long takes in Children of Men. Thank you for doing this, you guys rock.

I think the best feature of this is being able to switch between your tripod and gimbal fast. It may seem like a small feature, but it just makes your life 100 times easier! Everyone knows how annoying it is to balance your gimbal every time. (Is it time to switch from DJI to Zhiyun?!!)

Despite creativity being the most important thing in filmmaking, there is a point where you need some equipment to bring your ideas to life, the Crane 2s is that equipment for me. Also, here in Mexico, most indie filmmakers don't have access to this, so having this wonderful tool will allow me to create art that is almost always exclusive of bigs studios.

Fast forward a whole year later I still haven’t received my 3 videos yet 😫. Damn, I just tried to remove the column of my Crane 2S like you did at 1:16 and I got all of the screws out except for the last one. I completely stripped it. That thing was so tight that I bent 2 Allen wrenches trying to get it out. Just a word of caution to anyone else who is thinking of attempting this.
