I had an idea for your next series. What would be fun, is to see you trying for a certain victory type on a civ that is not geared towards that victory type. For example, a domination victory with a civ that has no combat bonuses. Especially fun on diety. Good luck
@abeke55235 жыл бұрын
I wonder if there is a mod where you can play without any unique stuff. No civ bonuses, unique units, buildings, or districts! Would be pretty cool.

Thanks a lot for the tutorial potato! I can't seem to find the bit where you explained about the 3 essential wonders for a culture game. It would be fantastic if you can point out for us. Thanks a lot! :)

Ideally, you make a second series with a slightly different (victory) focus and civ, to point out the difference in approach. I feel Mohenjo Daro (the additional housing) and your turn1 natural wonder (lots of early culture) made quite an impact in the long run, and the game would have run somewhat different if you didnt have them I know you probably don't have time for it, thanks anyway for the tips, really usefull
@philippeguyard67075 жыл бұрын
eXistenZ15 Well, that big impact in the early is kind of why he made some “mistakes” on purpose (also, the war with France was quite a pain in the ass)... He already made a Science victory with the Aztecs (last series), which already shows the basics of how to win with science.

I really enjoy this series! I never saw you managing the positions of great arts and I was wondering why? If you have 3 of different artists in the same museum it gives you a big tourism bonus, right?

6:43 confuses me, I thought ranged units use combat strength only while defending (at least wikia states that). Would really like to learn thoroughly about the combat system, maybe you could make a separate video on the topic before you tackle domination victory?
@PotatoMcWhiskey5 жыл бұрын
Combat Strength bonus applies to all forms of combat. Ranged combat strength bonus only applies to range.

One HT/request - don't rely upon people being able to see exactly what you're pointing at to understand what you're saying. E.g. In one episode you talked about the good and bad wonders, but I couldn't see them on my screen... Also better links to the next episode (link in the description is to the wrong playlist...)

@abeke55235 жыл бұрын
I think he could defend anyway without great walls. Moreover it's quite risky to have a builder in the battlefield. Also there is always some pretty important stuff to improve, harvest or chop.

You are planing around having a lot of National Parks, some you marked, some you mentioned earlier around the mountain wonder near the capitol. Seems a bit far fetched, your faith generation isn't good enough in my opinion to have that many by the time you finish the game. And if that's the case, you would be better off using those planned national park tiles for something useful, like a good campus or mine. Wasn't counting but i'm pretty sure you mentioned at least 6 throughout the series.

did I miss why you're building forests?
@DjDanee875 жыл бұрын
Forests increase the appeal of adjecent tiles. Appeal is needed for national parks and seaside resorts. But also having a forest + lumber mill next to a river is a pretty good production tile.
