Loved their music and performance, one of my favourite bands as a youth. Their energy and creativity was part of what inspired me to make music, form a band, then make music videos and have a career in a creative field. Great to see this clip and see they are lovely people and natural creatives. Thanks for your work. It is still hilarious that TOTPs didn't get it!

Saw them, when I was a kid and saw them this year as a gift from my pal for my sixtieth. What a band, what energy and originality. It's said that John Osbourne was the first to write kitchen sink plays. I think the Smiths are wrongly credited with being the first band to do the same. The Rezillos burst into the scene at least twelve or more years before at the same time as the 'Punk Rock' phenominan happened. But it wasnt shouted lyrics with contempt for everything from parents to establishment. It was colourful, energetic, totally different without provoking offence. Most of all, the talent that was so entertaining stands to this day. I can't recommend seeing them live highly enough. You will never be disappointed.

I always liked them. Their sense of fun - coupled with the themes they covered - was a nice change to the steady diet of angst us teens of the late 70's were fed. I never really bought into the Pistols anarchy thing, but I did love these guys.

Bands produce their best performances when they’re on the edge of the precipice before the end- as is evident here! Great stuff and unrepeatable energy!!!

The guitar work on the Rezillos album is beyond brilliant...guitar solo on Cold Wars rates as one of my faves of all time...simple but perfect...Good Sculptures...guitar part again perfect.....the songs....love them....The Rezillos album regularly gave my youngest the energy to tidy her room when she was young....!!!....it was the only noise that inspired her to move....

Here in the USA ; not many people knew about them. Did they ever tour here ? Their records were hard to find too. I have a feeling that - every single B-52's fan would have LOVED and embraced them here

Thanks goodness they re-formed. Miss Jo Calis songwriting and hard rocking guitar playing, but they are still the best live band out there. Hope they release a live concert DVD, from their favourite venue.

@Blocksvideos... I read a great interview with the 'Zillos in Jack Rabid's "Big Takeover" mag about 6 years ago. They didn't think too highly of the B-52s.. They befriended The Cramps during the New York recording sessions (saw them at CBGBs) and Lux told them the B52s would show up at gigs wearing anoraks..(i.e. poseurs) Maybe there was some rivalry methinks. But I love all three of those bands.

I love the way that Faye's Scottish accent comes through in the songs. Deffo an under-rated and overlooked band, fabulous looks which were way out kilter with what was going on at the time (new romantic) , but so cool it could solve climate change :)

Love them too much. Had The Revillos Monster Man painted in luminous green painted big on the back of my black leather biker jacket. Had to paint over the monster man bit when people kept asking me if it was my cb radio handle and boy I didn't want people to think I had anything to do with any cb radio. They were one of the lights that made my youth so bright.
