Lady, you are a bloody legend in my eyes. Thank you so much for helping me through my adolescence ❤

Fascinating interview with Fay, so good to hear her honest & perceptive thoughts about her Rezillos experience. Saw them a few weeks ago at the Assembly Rooms Islington & they played an absolutely storming set… long live The Rezillos! ❤

I was at their gig at The Vortex London in 1977. Fay looking like a Mary Quant 60's model being showered with gob from the audience, and being completely unfazed.

I saw the Revillos at the Peppermint Lounge in NYC when I was 16 years old. I had a fake ID. Best show ever. That was 41 years ago. Fay, I still adore you.

I'm definitely going to watch this later. I've been a Rezillos fan ever since 1978, (Yeah, I'm OLD!) and have seen them twice. They never disappoint! Thanks for posting and sharing!

The best "live" band i ever saw(joint first with The Blasters). They were so much fun and captured something that was so spot on at the time. Not sure to this day what it was, but they just nailed it. Happy days.

The loudest band I ever heard at the Dreadnought a few years ago, well as loud as the Cult at Livingston twenty years ago brilliant.

Rodney Bingenheimer played them on KROQ when I was in HS. Taped them and they were part of my soundtrack of youth.

I remember Rodney playing their stuff both Rezillos and Revillos the late 70's and early 80's,,, the beginning of his show he would play "Top Of The Pops'' following after playing This Could Be The Night.

after all this time... it's so good to hear her say that she preferred the Revillos. Both are good (especially the sound of the original "can't stand " and all the graphics/postcards) but the Revillos took it way further out there.... it's difficult to say just how good it all was. ... Eugene swinging upside down above the audience from a light truss with a mic in his mouth. ... if that was a concept bring it on...

I was 15 we had burned our Genisis and yes albums as we were so bored,we went to see a friend of a friend in Edinburgh, he had a shrine to the rezillos.. We saw the clash white riot tour and by the time the jam,the Buzzcocks and the slits had played we were gone like the first teddy boy concerts .The Clash were actualy a bit boring . My friend brought his punk pal De mented in to the school and wearing a parachute jacket, bondage trousers and peroxide short spiky hair, she went off like a bomb in a sea of denim and doc martins .We had appalling home made haircuts and as you couldn't get straight legs we had to make them ourselves.I remember my sister helping to sow them up saying how tight do you want them? Untill it hurts ?. My mate got expeled for having his hair too short which we thought was a victory. All in 6 months then it was over but what fun.

My primary school teacher who was so charming and posh, who would wear a two piece tweed skirt and jacket had a punk daughter who turned up one afternoon in primary three. We were all lost for words except her, who took it all very naturally. She was a star teacher too, looked a bit like a Thatcher caricature from the 80s.

Fay! As articulate off stage as on - I was very affected by the way she shook her shapely arse at the camera at the Lyceum gig - Sweet! ;-)

As a long time enthusiast of many of the Rezillos' contemporary punk and new wave acts, I am very late to discover them. Very cool band! I was watching these interview clips to learn how to pronounce their name (this video did the trick). Is it ok to say the following? Fay, you have real nice "flying saucers", lol (any euphemism works, though I admit that one doesn't make particular sense...)

A wonderful, creative, honest and frank interview. I think it's a shame that faye and Eugine never acknowledge their tallent and the joy they give their audience.

C'mon, Fay ! I loved the Rezillos but they were a ten a penny punk band and not some esoteric art project. Stop being so pretentious and pompous.

Sod off. Art is what makes you smile, and The Rezillos have made me happy for 45 years.
