Potensic ATOM 3-Axis VS DJI AVATA

In today's video we take to the skies again to find out what would happen if we race a cheap 400 dollar drone, against an expensive name brand FPV drone I'm the form of the DJI AVATA MOTION 2! The Potensic ATOM is a very good budget drone with high end video quality, but can it fly anywhere near as well as a DJI?

I want to give respect to the Potensic too. That little guy has been easy to fly, takes great video, and as mentioned we've crashed it a few times with no permanent damage. For what it is, it's a fantastic drone!

It is a good little drone. We still use ours for aerial stationary passing shots

Toss the Avata in Manual Mode Fun and boy the Avata will stay up with that drone. The Avata sure has some nice battery time. I really enjoy that little drone. Always nice to have a friend with another drone and go out some place and have a good time flying drones. Biggest thing with drones is safety, 2nd is having a good time.

Well said. Safety and fun are top priorities. I've heard the Avata is much faster in manual mode. Is it?

Nice work. Honestly any video you watch will default to 720 dpi. I will always bump it up to at least 1080. Being that you filmed in 4k 60fps I started the video over and watched from the beginning. Your "crappy old tablet" actually looked fine... unless you pan around but the footage look great. I think filming at 60fps is good but I have found that after its uploaded, I honestly think 30fps look better. Maybe it's my computer? Anyways the actual video was very entertaining and is the first one I've seen of one drone tracking another drone. Great concept. I think it would be cool to do a fake UFO film and use the Potensic as the unidentified craft. Maybe outfit the drone with some extra lights and shoot it at night. Lot's of cool stuff you can do. Keep going your really on a roll. 👍

Your doing fine with your filming and editing. I have watched a few tutorials about shooting video and my take away is that the audio is as important as the video and in some case more so. Your narration is always crystal clear and completely intelligible as well as entertaining. Believe me I'm no expert on the subject but I think in your case it's more about the enthusiasm and knowledge you posses. You rattle off the specs of cars effortlessly. I wish I could. lol Hey man you have a great holiday if I don't post in the near future. It's a busy time of year.

Just some free software. I can't even think of the name at the moment. But, I really need to upgrade the software, and the PC I'm using to edit. If you saw what I edit on, you'd laugh.

That's true. But the price mentioned for the potensic includes its flymore package with the 3 batteries, charging dock, carry bag and even more spare props.
