7 years later since I first started listening to this video and “Why We Fall”: Finished my BS with a 4.0 GPA More than doubled my salary. I’m back here today needing motivation through newer more stressful challenges but I am not the same person I was 7 years ago. Please remember to take the time to acknowledge all of the progress you have made. I’m often very hard on myself and I’m willing to bet many of you are as well. Something like 90% of things I was afraid of or spent hours worrying over worked out or played out in a manner I was not expecting. Keep the faith, enjoy the ride, and work hard every Day. When you least expect it, your ship will arrive at the dock, and you will be ready for it.

Amazing brother! Way to go! So inspiring.... I somehow watched all the motivation videos out there 7-9 years ago, but never came across this. I did listen to "Why We Fail" and "Quiet Desperation" over and over again... And looking back I reflect and resonate your feels. I feel like had the man I have become is the man I would've become had I watched THIS video instead back then.... But it's all good. There are multiple paths to success. Just flow with life and don't stop. Next level coming back. This video provided the fire! Thank you @quotogenic

Les Brown is a man who betters not only the people around him but all people who take those few minutes to listen to him. He may believe he knows how many people he has helped, but the truth is he has helped far more people than he really knows and I would like to say I appreciate his help. Everybody needs a bit of reinforcement throughout their lives and I can say he has helped me a great deal. I do not believe in god as I am an atheist, but speeches like these are what can help others and so I thank you Les Brown for your help.

I flatlined and died momentarily after an accident in costa rica. when I woke up my mind was confused and I thought brain cells were lost forever. Now I'm in university and going to be a teacher soon. there were nights when my depression after losing close people to me was eating me alive and I would lay in bed alone staring at the ceiling and would then scream into my pillow. Now I have a life I dreamed of, now I have a never ending fire in my soul to keep going, because I have known pain, and therefore now I can know happiness all the more. Never give up, never surrender, til your last breath.

My son took his life last November 8th , rugby star , good kid , smart and loving. What I wish I could of told him before he passed would of been ... life is a gift no matter how hard it is , it’s the experience and the up and downs that we get to live . We all die sooner then later but today we live and our life is to experience pain and happiness. You can end it today but why not wait until your death since once your gone you can’t come back . Smile today and live because life loves you and so do I .

The sad truth is that most people want external motivation to get action, we must find something inside of us something internal that fires up everytime we need it to get motivated.

With God all things are possible , you can do the impossible but only with God it’s like setting your whole soul on fire and if you can discover within yourself the passion that the Lord has planted inside you it begins to grow, you become your biggest believer and you become who you were always meant to be because if you don’t run after your dream you will come to realize your dream doesn’t run after you ,but you run after it and if you go get it, you will make it. trust in the Lord and ignite the explosion of change, become your dream. Not one of the many people can stop what God has planned for you , dream big and go get it!

Anyone can do it when they are motivated, ie. feeling a certain type of way. It is the true test when you do not have the drive and whether you keep going or not. I'm currently in this situation. Fighting is so hard, I cry - I know the answer but I can't act. I don't know do I want it bad enough? Maybe I should sell all my possessions, destroy all my contacts , and run somewhere at away. I don't know
@Folk_var10 жыл бұрын
Lowkeymani23 It's all about choice, you can choose to give up or you can choose to fight back and keep fighting to get what you want, it's your choice, no one else but you can change your life, but you have to make that choice.
@Dorkus89Malorkus10 жыл бұрын
christiansoccerplayr Why? I'd imagine God would do the opposite. After all, you're getting handed everything on a golden plate when you die. So why not just spend these 80 or so years accomplishing nothing? If there really is an eternal afterlife then whatever we do here really doesn't matter in the long run. I think the fact that I believe that this is my one and only life. Once it's over that's it - that motivates me to achieve greatness. If I don't do it now then there's nothing more. No second chances. As a matter of fact the church preached that people should "be happy with their lot in life" for a very long time. A peasant who was hoping to become a king was a blasphemer because he did not want to play the role that God had created for him in the world. At any rate - you're free to believe whatever you like, of course. Whatever floats your boat - so to speak.

Lowkeymani23 It pisses me off when people tell me that I am where I am because of "god". I didn't see God there getting up at 4am. I didn't see god there busting his ass of in the gym before sunrise. Victory had defeated me. I crashed cuz I forgot, I didn't see Or believe. Others were taking somehow the upper hand. Yet, when you are down. When you realize and see again. What you realize is noboddy is going to come down to save you. Just as how it all started back than when I had a depression. "Noboddy" is going to give it to you. Noboddy is going to be there. When you realize this. You remember how It all started and why You are the one to do this. Why you are going to be that One Legend. This is your life. You legacy we create. You think again about how it all started and what you used to say. "I need Noboddy. Because noboddy was there when I needed the most. I am the one. This is my Dream. My life. Jacob Linker The world is a sea of understanding, of light and dark, of love and hate, and despite thinking that perhaps no one understands, I guarantee you there are hundreds if not thousands of people out there who feel the same exact way you do in that moment. If your circle has not found them yet, one day it will, and until then you must persist. My favorite quote from this video: "Life is life, it falls on the just and unjust. Our pains are quite similar, it's our solutions that are different". Apply yourself to find the solutions that will proper you to your ideal. Your pain will become a part of your prize. Never stop driving forward, focus on your peak and never stop climbing. We appreciate your support :)

Human Potential is endless, if people would just open their eyes. I like to see potential as an untapped source of energy that really is the foundation of the Universe. When you reach your goal, or the next floor of your journey, you realize that there is another floor above you to climb. This is what separates the Winners from the Losers. Winners keep climbing, even after they've discovered that it's an endless journey. Losers give up after a few floors and say..."I can't do it." "It's too far." It's never too far...if you keep climbing. Reach your goal, then set another, then set another, then set another. You can only get better. What are you going to do differently in 2015?

2016 had punched me hard in the chest, trying to hold me down, keeping me from learning how to love people the true way. It let me push against it, even this morning it threw a punch. But does that stop me, a 14 year old girl? I'm sorry, even as America gives me freedom, I will NEVER let the court decide wether or not I live where. I choose. I win. And if they want to fight against me, I will run.

Life is hard. Deal with it. Stop punching people or one day, you'll be punched back so hard you won't get back up.

Jacob Behm no it's just a lot of people in the comment section like to assume I'm a guy lol it's fine but I wrote this just because I was upset. I get life is stupid but that doesn't mean I won't fight for what I want lol. I'm a girl literally biologically I'm not trans but I said that so people stop fucking assuming in the comment section it bothers me
