I'd walk away to be honest based on what you said. It's cheap for a reason, so I would either wait till a better one comes along ( if it's the car you want) or wait till the price reduces to a level at which it becomes a viable project. I think you have worked this out already, but don't fall into the trap of a typical car KZbinr and get lots of cars all of which need work and aren't road legal only to find you no longer have the time nor money to sort them.

It's a good price for a project, at today's prices. But any reasonable 2CV will cost a fair amount these days. If you carry out some work, at least you would know you had done it well!

If what you stated is true Alex it is best that you passed. Maybe it could be purchased later at a better price, or another project will come along That being said, Rick is looking for headrests for Agatha; would you know of anyone will to part with headrests from an Allegro? Contact him (Rick) if you can find them.

Tough decision to make, but as you drove away quickly (trying to get into 5th to get away faster!) you've probably already made the right decision Though ... have we seen you do any welding?
