My Catholic elementary school put on this show... The junior version though, lol! Instead of this whole thing, it was written that Potiphar's wife framed Joseph for stealing a jewel. Pretty different, huh?

in the original bibical story potiphar's wife accused joseph of SA'ing her which was why he went to jail. To see the actual scene i would recommend watching the movie ''joseph, king of dreams'' by dreamworks or u can search up the scene on youtube.

Potiphar was a head captain of the guards in Egypt, he could’ve easily had Joseph killed in any excruciating way he wanted. The fact they he just had him imprisoned showed that he just making a show for other people and that he really believed in Joseph (and later in the story Potiphar is actually mentioned again by the name of Potifara 🥸so interpret that as you will💁♀️

I don't know how to interpret Potifar and Potifara but you may want to elevate on it with a link to a yt video? All I understand is that Egypt is Biblical seen low and the prison in Egypt is lower, the lowest point.
