This is great thank you! What is the purpose of the drill while holding the kickboard doing half the pull? I plan on doing some of these drills with my swimmers thanks!

When I swim breaststroke my hip and legs always go down and they are not on the surface. This makes it difficult to come out for breath. How do I keep my hip and legs on the surface?

Just focus on main concepts. 1) Speed comes primarily from the kick...kick back with bottoms of the feet. 2) The insweep and upsweep of the hands are the only part of the stroke that help propel you forward so do that part if the pull hard and fast. 3) Remember the sequence of pull-breathe-kick-glide. The shorter the race the shorter the glide.

what different between old and new pullout ? thank u :)
@potomacmarlins19 жыл бұрын
On the older pullout the dolphin kick came at the end of the underwater pullout...like the finish of butterfly. The newer pullout now happens while you are still in a streamlined position, before the underwater pullout.
