Great comparisons! I have no problem that the one set came from Walmart but, the fact that the plaids on their shams don’t line up, jars my eyes terribly! That would be the only factor that would make it a No for me. Kudos for stuffing that duvet just for us!

Walmart sheets are my favorites. ❤Even compared to an expensive popular designer line that a different web influencer raved about. Those expensive sheets got stained quickly and never looked as good as the ad.

I’m pretty sure this is the first time I can honestly say what you are comparing with Pottery Barn looks good. I normally like PB more, but since this would be a temporary/seasonal thing, Walmart is the better choice, financially. I prefer the fluffy duvet look, but the Walmart quilt is a good temporary choice. Great job!

I hate duvet covers, tooooooo. Why do we do this to ourselves? haha. My duvet has been naked for over a YEAR (it's white, it looks fine, but I do have to wash it more). I can't believe how much of a dupe that Walmart set is. That is the best choice! I love all of your cost saving ideas, Leslie!

I like them both, but definitely like the Pottery Barn set the best because of the cream shading being a little more creamy versus a bit more white. However, for the cost difference, I would definitely choose the Walmart set! Thank you ☺️ for this fun video! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

the Pottery Barn is a touch warmer and matches the throw better. I would have liked the Walmart better if it was a duvet cover because in the winter always sleep with a duvet. I need that heaviness and warmth. But the look is definiently the same. I would probably go for the Pottery Barn just because of the duvet unless I was decorating for summer when the quilt would be enough. All in all that was a pretty good price on the Pottery Barn duvet cover. I bought one that was way more than that, but it was reversable.

The main difference I noticed is the plaid on the shams did not match on the Wal Mart version. That would drive me a little crazy but for the price difference and the fact it is just for a seasonal look I would probably go with it anyway.

One picky detail is that the plaid on the Walmart shams doesn’t match when the two sham pillows sit side-by-side. That little detail would cause my brain some consternation. Otherwise, the two sets look nice from here. I’m glad the Walmart quilt was long enough on the sides. That’s can be an issue with inexpensive bedding.

Love your channels and your style. Im an aged care nurse in australia and Jason and yourself are making a difference by sharing your journey. THANKYOU! Tip for putting on your doona ... duvet ... cover (its almost all we use in Australia). Lay your doona ... duvet ... flat on your bed. Turn your doona ... duvet ... cover inside out. Place your arms into the cover and grab a corner of the cover in each hand (the 2 corners opposite the opening end). Hold onto those corners like a little crab and go ahead and pick up 2 corners of your doona ... duvet. By keepimg your arms low, you should be able to shimmy/shake/flip the cover onto the duvet. The cover should end up the right way now, bit insideout. This shimmy move will get the cover about half way in. U can then 🤞just funnel the rest of it on fairly easily. So many words for what would be a far easier demonstration... sorry. But this description of a tried and tested method might help. Goodluck!
