Best demo I have seen, I can actually say I understand intellectually regarding the process of spiral wedging. Many clips on KZbin covers this technique but again this is the most explanatory I have come across. Thanks you / A😊

I greatly appreciate the clear and concise instructions - finally someone that understands how to demonstrate this technique for those that don't know it. Thanks!

Beautifully clear and neat explanation and demonstration. Made it really so much more simple and straightforward - and a whole lot less scary. Thanks so much.

Not sure if you got a reply, but what I have which works well for me is a plank covered on both sides with heavy canvas. I use one side for white clay and the other for terracotta, brown and black clays. Every now and then I hose it down and leave it outside in the sun to dry off. Works very well. I secure the board to my wedging table with clamps to stop it slipping around.

I'm new and learning - what is the surface you are using to wedge on? Is that purchased or handmade?
