Thanks for the easy beginner level projects. I did this with air dry clay for 2 reasons: I had some laying around and it was a cheap lesson in technique. There is a difference between duplicate and replicate, and when the medium is not crucial, the end result is still the same: improvement. No need to reply. 😊

If this shrinks in the kiln, will the candle still fit?

You see in the video I leave the candle loose to account for the shrinkage. When it's fired, it shrinks so the candle is tight.

i stared at the thumbnail of this video for like a full minute before I remembered that candle sticks are the things that HOLD the candles and you weren't making a full ass ceramic candle
