If I have a heavy clay layer 4 inches down, what do you suggest I do to give me the best potential for a bench graft?

Ahhh, I should have waited until you addressed it. :-)

I'm in Summerville, SC. Can you guesstimate how long it might take for a grafted apple tree to produce fruit? I'm kinda old and hope for fruit bearing trees in 3 to 4 years. Figs, loquats, peaches and mulberries thrive here. Thank you. I really enjoyed your video and just discovered your sales site.

You should harvest a small crop of peaches the year after planting in your climate, by small I mean 2 or 3 peaches per tree. I’m four years you should be harvesting significant volume of fruit

So that white stuff is fungus, I thought it's a mycelium which can benefit the tree 😂
