Would love to see a full tour of your nursery on a Monday video, I'm just getting started, I've got a lot of cuttings going and a bunch potted up but I'm out of covered patio space and not sure how to start laying it all out in the yard.

I love all of your videoes. What is the 'snap shot' pre-emergent..won't it kill the newly rooted plant? am trying to propagate my purple leaf sandcherry, white fringe tree and some diablos because these are the only shrubs that have thrived here. My hope is to end up with about 10 of each shrub so that I can line my property with them. I have not had success with the soft wood cuttings bc not enough air was getting to them they got moldy or mildewy. So am going to make your propagation box.

Hi Mike... can you or anyone who knows about crape myrtles answer a question? I have all these little seedlings that grow at the base of my crape myrtles. All the videos I've found here on KZbin call them suckers and no one mentions that they could be potted as new trees. There are instructions on cuttings off the main tree, but seems like these little suckers apparently are useless. Are they useful to grow a new tree or not? Thanks for any clarification you can give!

Mike, I bought a potting mix that has a lot of small pieces of wood chips in it. I am wanting to use it also for seed starting, but need to sieve out the larger stuff. What size wire would you recommend for doing this? Thank you for your time.

In a world where there are more and more chemicals contaminating almost everything... it seems a shame to put out more chemicals. Especially where small children are also sometimes working in the nursery. There has to be a better way. Disks of coconut coir to cover the soil, maybe, with a slit to fit them around the plant or tree? Or...?
