The IKEA one is great for elimination communication! We've used it since our son was 6 weeks old. I take the insert and put it between my legs and just sit him on my lap. I'm hoping when it comes time to actually potty train he'll be used to the toilet already and can more easily go in his own, but he's only 6mo right now so we'll see...

@@pancakemix8213 he's 21 months now and still not potty trained but we do appreciate that he's quite predictable so we catch most of his poops in the potty and don't have to deal with poop diapers, only pee diapers. Good luck with your little one!
