Télécabine "Rivera - Alpe Foppa" (Monte Tamaro)

Télécabine "Rivera - Alpe Foppa" située au Monte Tamaro, district de Lugano (Tessin).
Construite en 1972 par Agudio, cette télécabine utilise la technologie Carlevaro & Savio. En effet, Carlevaro & Savio, en faillite, a été racheté en 1969 par Agudio. Ce constructeur n'ayant pas encore d'expérience concernant les installations débrayables, il a repris le savoir-faire de Carlevaro & Savio pour construire la télécabine du Monte Tamaro. Il semblerait même que l'installation ait été commandée directement auprès de Carlevaro & Savio avant leur faillite.
Cette installation ainsi que la télécabine du jardin franco-allemand de Saarbrücken sont les deux dernières au monde à utiliser les célèbres pinces Carlevaro & Savio ! Cette télécabine a été rénovée en 1995 par Poma Italia. Les cabines d'origine ont été remplacées par des cabines Espace 4 de chez Sigma.
Notons encore que la télécabine n'ouvre que du printemps à l'automne car le domaine skiable a fermé depuis de nombreuses années.

Thank you ! Yes, this ropeway will be replaced next year. But it will be open to the public until August 2024 before works begin in September.

@@Remonte-pente It's criminal that businessmen should be allowed to manage anything because all they care about is what makes them more and costs them less money. It's not about capitalism or who finances the operations of the old lifts. Everyone should be allowed to have what they are passionate about, especially if there is nothing wrong with whatever it is. And old lifts NEVER have accidents. The modern lift manufacturers have just overcomplicated mechanical design standards to make money from selling more and more modern lifts after forcing the destruction of the better and more interesting old ones. I will make sure that those corporate tyrants pay for their tyrannical actions. The destruction of old lifts is the destruction of a passion for innocent people and it is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Business, working for a living, and private funding of operations doesn't excuse any of it or make any of it acceptable. People who are passionate about lifts should manage them, NOT BUSINESS TYRANTS! And ropeways should be built in MORE places than JUST MOUNTAIN REGIONS! Then people will recognize them more for the appeal that they have to enthusiasts and that they are so much more than profiteering tools for evil businessmen who threaten people with violence and arrest if anyone stops them from what they are doing even if it's wrong. NOTHING JUSTIFIES THE DESTRUCTION OF INNOCENT THINGS. OLD LIFTS ARE INNOCENT. Monte Tamaro SA and the Federal Transport Office will suffer! I'll make them FEEL ABSOLUTE PAIN after everything that they have done, and how many nice things they have destroyed all because of money and how they have managed to bend everything to their will with tyrannical capitalism and centralization.
