+Vince SC Smash 4 and melee are completely different games and what might be considered safe or good in melee will ALWAYS be completely different in smash 4 due to just being different games. Just cause people spam fair with sheik in smash 4, would they do it in melee? Maybe, but for different reasons (one for combo one for kill). The main reason people spam fair with Marth with smash 4 as compared to not doing it in melee is due to the fact that Marth has an insane dash dance in melee to use as his main tool in neutral, while in smash 4 neutral is using the safest move to approach which is fair.

Aaron Choe I am well aware :) What's interesting is seeing a melee player play 4, and vice versa.. I watched Kage win with Ganon in Smash 4 even without L cancelling, and all the differences in attacks. Of course there's a cross over in style when this happens.. but like you said, they are definitely very different
