They have been using Coke + Chicken recipes in the South for years, my sister had a recipe for oven fried chicken, using Coke. I have forgotten the entire recipe, but she taught my wife the recipe. It was OK but that was 52 years ago . My wife and sister have since passed away. They used Coke in a Bar B que sauce. My sister lived in Wewahitchka, Florida. Say that while eating chicken. In the Native American language it means " Watery Eyes". Anyway it was delicious, so my friends try this person's recipe and enjoy.

It looks like honey butter coke chicken. When added with sesame seeds it becomes terayaki like. Done that and it's delicious. Coke is also used for marinating to tenderize meat

You can use Cola on beef , pork .... the product is so strong that the chemical reaction to fat causes the breakdown of muscles and all . Really gross though for those whom choose to indulge in the drink on a daily.
