75 years ago when young, I spent many years of living on my own, following work and education, I had to cook my own food and I just would not have time to decorate my food as much as I see in many videos. Using a knife, one can slice the food in any manner and it would not lose any of its natural flavour. I hate going to some restaurants as they give you more decorations on the plate, rather than the amount of food . When I see a lot of decoration and sauces on a bigger than necessary plate, all I think about is , "There is a lot missing in this camouflage!" The worst food I was served with, was in the best hotels, and the best, always in family run restaurants of the " worker's " type, where you actually see the food being cooked by the family members owning the restaurant. I liked that family atmosphere when I was on my own
