definitely a non-traditional way to do a pour on much every aspect. Can appreciate the technique for screeding you came up with.

Boss, I may have bad news for you. But you already had a concrete floor. So all this time and money spent for not really that much of an improvement. But the construction material industry thanks you for your service!

@@MarekKubi If I may ask, what was your motivation for undertaking this endeavor? I first thought that you wanted to build a shop out of an old garage. But it appears that the garage is still used as such.

@@clarus180 It is mostly my hobby stuff to build something. I repair my car and weld some stuff in that garage now. I dont mind taking more complicated method in renovating.

@@MarekKubi The new floor came out very good so you got your money's worth and even some free exercise on top of that. My recommendation would be to put in some Judo mats and start an underground Brazilian Jiu Jitsu / MMA fight club.

@ Materials in my country are relatevely cheap. My time cost more. If I could done it for business, then yes it is pointless to waterproof and many more things are wasting.

Why not just finish up with self leveling mix?

Yes, that is an option. I have an old and rusty/oily car, which I sometimes fix in that garage. So atm I am pleased with not perfect floor :D
