Does the Ardex Liquid Backer Board water proof the floor?
@DIYTileGuy3 жыл бұрын
No. Ardex make a liquid waterproofing, a trowel-applied waterproofing, and a waterproof sheet membrane that would work if you want to keep with the same brand.

Nice job! How do you measure for the high spots and low spots. Wondering what kind of reference do you use to put more leveler in low spots and feathering it out in high spots? Also what product is that? Custom, laticrete, adrex, mapei.....? Thanks

Great question and I will be uploading a more extensive video that shares a little more of the process. But I used a product called Ardipegs by Ardex to map the floor and a laser to determine the heights.

Is that thin of a pour strong? I would think it might crack. (fyi, I don't know much about cement / concrete)

Different products have different minimums. For this product, Ardex Liquid Backer board, the minimum is 1/8 inch.
