Question about the sealer: If you’re planning on painting it when finished, does the sealer still go on first? Does it keep the glossy sheen when cured? Will that affect the way the paint cures to the cement? Thanks! These videos are very helpful!

So there’s no need to trowel the material that levels itself?

The first coat we do trowel and spread evenly with a flat squeegee. The second coat is sprayed on using a texture machine. This layer doesn't self-level and we don't spread it out.
