I enjoyed seeing the two Red Adirondack Chairs on your deck. I'm Canadian and routinely hike our mountains. Canada has installed 2 red adirondack chairs in hundreds of remote locations throughout the country to encourage tourism. I hunt these locations to keep my muscles active. It is all part of getting old in Canada.

Congratulations on the start of your silo house foundation! There's only one pier that's been dug and poured I'm skeptical about. That's right, the one at the base of the oak tree...lol 😂 The tree roots will eventually crack and move the pad/pier, and you won't have to worry about the freeze line. Love ya'll ❤

The pad above the frost line will heave and pull the whole footing up. A sono tube would have been a better application for this project. If anything a pad underneath the frost line would be better and then a sono tube. Hopefully this soil doesn’t heave much in frost. The deck looks great!

Well, water lines, and power need to be done immediately before you become discouraged with this property. A temporary power pole with box would make the building process much easier than generators.

Hi Jason & Danielle, good to see Both of you doing things on your new property, when is that guy supposed to bring your grain silo? If I understood what you said, you are building a deck for around the grain silo now, right? I think this will be a very Cool home, you will definitely have to insulate the heck out of it eh? I cant wait to see the plans you guys come up with for the build, like where will your bedroom be-on the second floor? How will you position the kitchen, things like that. Hey what about windows, will he put some windows in for you, is he building the frame? OMG I am in love with puppies, seeing you loving on them while laying on the bed, warmed my heart-they are absolutely adorable & so loving & loveable!!! You really NEED to Keep short legs, he just belongs with you two!!!! So nice the other day, when you decided to go to the studio/Apt. to hang out & have decent showers!!! Wish you had a couple weeks without 🌧️ during the daylight hours, rain at night is fine. Lol Side note please get parvo shots💉 for puppies if not done , parvo is deadly⚠️ and lives in the soil for over ten years. I saw my friend lose a pup 🐶to it and its horrible. Being that they havent homes yet it really cant wait. Looks like your on your way to building soon. Jason make yourself a couple saw horses since you have a lot of building to do its time saving and safer when sawing lumper, both small and large jobs.

Well, I don't actually like watching a person work when I can't help them with the work heh heh. But, I do like seeing the completion of goals and so on heh. Learning what is going on is good for me too. For example, those concrete forms you made seemed skewed on the ground, yet I saw you clearly use a level. Somewhat jarring. heh heh. I know nothing about building, however.
