I think the reason why I love these pours so much is because I enjoy the result immensely... It's almost like I'm looking either into outer space, or if you think about the other end of the spectrum, Inner Space... like at a cellular level. Just like people who are into photography, you have macrophotographers and micro. I can't make up my mind which one you're round canvas looks like. That's the beauty of it. Your mind can wander while you look at it. Well done, I totally enjoyed it and I can't wait to try it one day.💗🎨🖼

The colors really do change when dry. Need to remember this. This is such a gorgeous piece. The colors are very rich and elegant. Would love to see the finished clock. I almost had heart failure when you were about to pick it up one more time and move things around. I was yelling at my laptop, no, please! It's perfect!

So glad you heard me shout ‘step away’. It’s so rich & opulent and for some reason it reminds me of a typical Chinese plate, the blue & white ones. It’s the twisted tree trunks I can see, I LLOVE IT.

I liked the dark. You worked it so much trying to get rid of most of it, that it got a little muddy looking, as opposed to black. Even so, I thought it was very pretty until I saw it dry. Then it was REALLY pretty. I reran the video several times just to see the finished piece. Recently I have looked at a couple of other pour sites, and I want you to know, you are the bomb.

Thank you! I'm about a year into my pouring addiction and I've struggled with using metallics, lots of hits and misses. Now I know why..I've have asked multiple pourers for advice on using them and had been told that they are heavier so to make them thinner... Finally someone who knows what their talking about! Thanks Jules I love your work, very talented :) You are a great teacher and explain things so well. Very glad I found your channel and FB page. A lot easier when you learn from someone that uses Australian products :)

It is gorgeous. Please don't be so critical. I agree with, "Save the Darks", as Bob Ross taught. You've got plenty of gold. Strive not to over fiddle, over control & over analise the process. This technique is for reducing control, so don't be afraid to allow the natural beauty of the flow technique to come through. It is gorgious, leave it at that.
@RMBlake0075 жыл бұрын
This piece was stunning at EVERY stage. My personal preference was that it was perfect at 17:15 , before some of the darks were poured off. I am guilty of playing too much with my paint so I get it when an artist does the same. We are more highly critical of ourselves than others are. Thank-you, I enjoy your video's and your work is amazing!!
@SandraBettsArt5 жыл бұрын
I like the analysis that this type helps reduce control... I have found that, for me, it helps me relax by gradually helping me understand I cannot control everything and that there is beauty in not having control....

Another masterful masterpiece! Thanks, Julie, for welcoming us 'into Your home", and showing us how Your art is done! Don't do too many...although it may be addictive. Use some time to take care of You! Being that this is essentially abstract - it reminded me of moon(s)/planets. A friend of mine recently had a local showing - You guessed it - moons and planets. But she did traditional painting, no pours, as far as I can tell!
