Sushi >fish rolls, Takoyaki which is basically an octopus meatball and tempura which is shrimp (Prawns) with a light batter around and then fried. Strictly no other (except egg still western tho). cows were introduced in the Yayoi period (second centry AD) by the chinese Until about the time of the Meiji Restoration in 1868, they were used only as draught animals, in agriculture, forestry, mining and for transport, and as a source of fertiliser along with rice. It wasnt until the meiji restoration that Beef was eaten since an emperor ate some.

This is not a fair master chef level competition. To make it fair you shouldve added a non participant fourth poutine stall who sells the classic poutine. If students prefers the classic of the master chef candidates, that gives us the viewers a better understanding of who is failing and how it should be. It also helps setting a base line that you should never go under. These guys are supposed to already be good chefs better then the average. If the average beats them, then they get disqualified. And if they and up last place but still beats the average joe poutine, then they get a consolation prize of still being a very good chef.
