I'm pretty sure he's wrong about this. Back then most of the seedy activity on that side of the city was focused in the Crown Hill area. I believe Green River Gary used to do most of his hunting on the south end closer to where he lived and worked. I know that International Blvd/Military Road near SeaTac was a lot like this in 90s.
