I enjoy watching your POV videos. But as a current home barista I noticed a few things that could improve your workflow and latte art skills. First, I noticed that you tend to overfill the milk pitcher (above spout line) and as a result when you pour the milk into the espresso, you pour too much milk very quickly which affects the settling of the base. Also, if you are able to slow down a bit when trying to pour your latte art to improve on the details of the design (e.g. finer vs thicker lines, tulip stacks etc.). I hope this is helpful. Have a blessed day.

Thanks I will keep that in mind! Never considered myself a great artist! I pour a lot of hearts! Lol

@@trickmakescoffee i know exactly what you mean because when I started my latte our journey I did not thought of myself as a latte artist but with practice and persistency, Now I’m able to pour different types of designs but my favorite one will always be Winged tulips. I think that if you keep on practicing and I’m having consistent milk, texture and technique. You should be able to pour different types of latte art designs in no time. 🤓

What do you mean by settling of the base?
@Intentional_soundscapes139 ай бұрын
@@akilegna1255 settling the base means when you pour the milk slowly from a height of a few inches (7-8cm) above the cup, aiming to pour milk directly into the deepest part of the espresso until the cup is filled 2/3 or at the rim of the cup (tip: the more you tilt your cup while settling the base, the less volume of milk you will need to fill the cup to the rim, which means that you can start your latte art pattern early and have more space for milk foam). I hope this is helpful.

Why do some iced drinks you mix in the pitcher and some in the paper cups? Just curious! Is the difference if it is mocha's?
@trickmakescoffee9 ай бұрын
Great questions, we make a toffee sauce with butter and heavy cream,and it tends to clog the drains which isn’t fun so we use the single serve paper. We are trying to figure out a different method but luckily as a company have planted about 30000 trees to Trees for the Future to hopefully make up for it!
