My friend owns a D2 3.3 TDI, sounds insane and drives amazing, you can forget about potholes in this car, can't feel anything, but the sound of S8.. Unbeatable. Definitely a car worth maintaining for as long as possible.

Great to hear you also enjoy the D2! I am planning to completely restore the car, eventhough it is already in a very good condition! However the subframe is starting to show signs of rust :(

Isn't the body and chassis aluminium? I was under the impression that D2 is well known for lack of rust. Either way, great to see another D2 receiving love.

@@Halfdanjalyes that is true, the body and panels all are aluminium and will not rust! However, the fuelcap door and subframe are from steel and tend to rust unfortunately

Wonderful car! How you get a steering wheel with paddles, mine and every other has buttons in front to change the tiptronic gears, tnx.

Thanks for the compliments! The steering wheel is from an Audi RS6 C5, hence the orientation behind the steering wheel. It was all plug and play, however I not all C5 RS6 steering wheels fit plag and play if I remember correctly
