Do you fly Acro?
@JamieFPV885 сағат бұрын
Yes I do bud. I didn't for a while though. Used to fly these in angle but flying in acro is actually easier once I found the confidence to do it
@cardoor.pierreКүн бұрын
ive wondered this since ive entered the hobby, do yall do these flythroughs in angle mode or is it in acro/air?
@cardoor.pierreКүн бұрын
ive been into FPV mostly on sims for about a year, wondering how you got started into doing this for a career, its something I would love to do
@JamieFPV88Күн бұрын
@@cardoor.pierre when I started off I was largely doing these in angle but have since moved to doing these in across and you need to make sure you turn off air mode as it has a habit of getting sucked to the walls when getting to close to them. Angle does have a couple of benefits like if it hit something it will recover itself and generally you can save it but you are constantly fighting against the self level and is does hinder your actual flying. So best to practice in acro.
@JamieFPV88Күн бұрын
@@cardoor.pierre best thing you can do is start hitting up smaller companies who have indoor spaces and offering out your services for free to build up a catalogue of flythroughs and then eventually start charging for them. I also use LinkedIn to connect with the right people. It's hugely powerful

And theres me been building, Flying and doing this stuff in my sleep for over 4 years for free. How do you go about making money from this mate? Cheers
@JamieFPV883 күн бұрын
Yeah it's a weird one mate for sure. flying is definitely a big part but alot of it is running a business which is the difficult part. I've been doing this professionally for 4 years now and it's only really come good in the past 2 year and the first 2 year were a real struggle but hard work does pay off. I would highly recommend getting a linkedin account and connecting with the money holders for companies who could benefit from FPV or drone work. Figure out what your niche is and hit it hard. I am fortunate enough now to be in a position where work finds me but you have to put in the grind. You also need to make sure you can deliver a solidly editing product that serves a purpose for your client as well. Hope that helps.
