As an owner, the system is mediocre. At low volume it retains detail really well, but when you start to increase the volume, nothing really happens. Could do with a bit more power.

I own the i30N, it's not great. Music sounds okay, but it lacks volume. If you're driving with someone and talking, the music can be turned down, but retains all the detail, which is nice. If you're driving alone or with friends and want to boost the volume, you'll be left disappointed.

I really like this car but man the cabin is kinda ugly in my opinion. I do prefer my GTIs interior. Also no digital dials? Sounds amazing for a stock car though wow. To bad they probably discontinuing the i30 otherwise i would of strongly considered one. Its definitely ticking all the boxes of a great hot hatch, interior aside.

Mara this i30 N nice and fast but it is only faster than the standard GTI not the other variations of the GTI such as the TCR, latest clubsport and the previous clubsport with the overboots function.

@@embakubmotoring it matters especially if you remember what happened to Mazda MPS and Ford Focus ST. The low sales might discourage Hyundai to continue with this i30N. Anyway have you ever reviewed TCR cause i always felt like its more like GTI 7.5

i30N is a better hot hatch than the GTI but the GTI is a better car. The hyundai is a hard stiff ride and you'll end up using it more on weekends but the GTI is a much better daily. When you are younger you can take the beating but once you get back problems, kids and families come into play you will appreciate comfort more than anything. It's the same reason why the Renault Megane RS got discontinued. Sales were poor even tho that car was outstandingly brilliant
