I have fond memories of owning this car. I currently have a G20 M340i, which I love, but I have some nostalgia for the nice 4-banger sounds. Zippy little car that I could throw into sport mode and not worry about losing control haha

To use launch control u need to press the brake as hard as u can and trottle all the way down to the click. U will then see launch control active on the dash.

yea tbh i was thinkng of getting the f30 320i as my first car, but it doesnt nearly have enough power, and tuning the thing just seems so careless, since it will cause more wear and tear, verses just getting the 328i, which i did. great car tho

@@jj-fk9ez Doesn't have enough power? I think a first car should not have more than 100hp 😂 Got a 330i as my first car a couple years back, damn near died doing stupid shit it ain't worth dumping all that money in to a fast car at first you needa just get comfortable with driving

@@ApperiEdits really? my first car was a f30 328i a while back, but even with the 240 hp, and 255 lb of torque, i never really felt the car feel unstable in any way, as in going around corners, or bends in a canyon, i got the car tho bc of the hp number, and how safe it felt for me. at that time, i thought the 335i was too much for me to handle, aka i would end up crashing it, but now the 335i feels like a cakewalk lol

@@jj-fk9ez Yeah I get that, I live in Finland tho the road quality and the fact that there is snow 6-7 months of the year here is the reason I think over 100hp is too much at first, trying to drift in snowy roads was the stupidest thing to do as soon as I got my license. 😂

Nothing compared too the 335 or the 340 but still fantastic for a 4 cylinder. You gotta ride in or drive one of these to really understand.

the 328 used to be six cylinder!! the took two off and put a turbo on instead. they call it twin power turbo. a normal size turbo and a small one which i assume if kinda a anti turbo lag thing?

@@taylorallen9070 If FBO 300hp is most you prolly making in an N20. Upgraded turbo, e85, and other supporting mods then maybe 400hp but I mean its not really the motor to be trying to make a ton of power with unless you were to build the internals. Its a 4-cyl

I want to buy a 2014 328i x-drive, but I don’t know if the car is good or not, I like the car but Idk if is reliable enough for me to buy it, because I don’t want a car that is constantly having problems because at the end of the day is a BMW so is expensive to repair anything, but if the car is not having problems very often then is fine for me 😅

It can be hard to have these cars if you don't know some one personally or have a family mechanic who can do your repairs for the low... I happen to have multiple. However, Ive had this car for almost a year and have had no issues or major repairs. Just routine oil changes. Don't be afraid to join bimmer gang!! It's a lifestyle!!

I feel you.. in this video i'm actually stock. But as of now I have an intake, about to install a charge pipe and stage 1 tune. i advise you just get some bolt ons and stage 1 tune!
