Theres a glitch for 16bit version when u can actually see from smoke or u throw at the same time like that, but from my experience who play at level national tournament stage thats useable but illegal. Idk in that year or that tournament they didnt allowed the 16bit version or not.

My experience with smoke grenades 10+ years ago is that computers couldn’t render it properly so sometimes you have Low end settings that don’t even see the smoke plume.
