I like the way you find the tail and sort the brake lines and flake inward. I was taught to find the A’s and work outward but still get lost in everything.

Yep! A lot of people do and I’m still not sure why 😅 that works for them because they know what they’re looking at. For newbies, y’all have no clue what you’re looking at so it makes it more manageable 🙌🏻

That flaking method is sooooo convenient!! I started my journey with Aerodyne, they have colored tabs, so it was much easier. But in my private rig i switched to PD and struggled a bit to find a good way to flake my Pulse.

@@tedbates1316 i am about 88kg and fly Pulse 170. Very happy with how it performs. Good on landings, good on openings, front risers quite stiff but possible to work on. Very responsive to toggles.

Hi! TY very much. Great video, very informative. If you don't mind me asking: It's the first time I see the bag brought to the container and then you make figure-8 folds. Usually you can see how people make figure-8 folds by pulling lines with the container towards the bag. Is your method better? Does it make different results or is it just personal preferences?

@@EvanSantangelo I used to skydive, not amymore.but I would literally just put that chute on its side the cells on top of each other, then just start from the back fold the parachute line up the lines pull the slider up the fold it to fit the bag, then put the lines in the bands and then in the pack , use my old pull up cord to shut the pack and put the pilot chute in its sleeve..maybe 5 minutes was stretching it , but I didn't do half of what you do..

@@jeffstepp-ou8re That's a flat pack, which is what I did for a long time after learning it in military freefall. Quicker, easier maybe, but to me, the opening difference is remarkable. Propacks like this are the way to go imho.
