pov nature photography with sony a7iii + 85mm 1.4 SIGMA

Point of view nature photography at my local state park. I am using the Sony A7iii camera with the 85mm f/1.4 lens by Sigma. I am recording on a gopro 10. All of these photos were edited using Lightroom and Photoshop. Please let me know your favorite shot! 😁👍🏽

Not sure I have a favourite as I like what you find. I'd have liked to hear more about your process and to have see you push the limits of your lens: Close focus, lots of stop, different shutter speeds, etc. Also, it would be good to see some metadata: ISO, aperture and shutter speed. OK, favourite shot is the "nice flowers"! I have an A7iv and use the Sony 85mm f/1.8. Should I trade in to buy the faster Sigma?

Thank you for the CC! Both are great lenses and with the A7IV it sounds like you are pretty set! I might be a little biased but I definitely think the 1.4 is worth the investment 😅

Take some test shots of both lenses to see if you see much difference. The Sony is a great lens, cheap, small and light. The Sigma is a tiny bit faster and heavier. Only you can see if there is a significant difference in image quality between these lenses to consider an upgrade. I have a Sony 85 1.8 and it does fine. I can't see losing money unless that sigma is really a 'game changer.' But then I am a lover of sharp zooms and really don't want to limit myself to a single focal length.
