WOW! This bus trip POV just seems VERY special. From the people laughing on here to the sound of the engine, and was made even more spectacular by who was behind the wheel. Eugene, SO glad to hear you back, my friend. You made this blind bus-nut's day! :-D Smiling from ear to ear on this! Hope all is well. Great ride as always. ...I wish I could see what the configuration of the seats were on this, and what kind of seats were on there. :-D

Gillig New Flyer memories. Always rough ride, no shocks. Moved up to Motor Coach, favorite MCI. Like driving a Cadillac compared to City Busses. Ever drive the New Flyer Articulated? Awesome braking but slow acceleration. Another favorite was the El Dorado at airport only passenger pick up drop offs. One more thing, (city busses)headlights suck, weak or pointing down, can pass a passenger easily especially wearing dark clothing at dim bus stops. Cheers from MTS San Diego

I can tell that this is a newer gillig because of the lights that shine down from the top of the doors and light on the bottom right corner of the back right wheel and a few other things. Why do the left blinkers blink slower than the right ones, because the buses in my town blink all at the same speed. Also, love the bus and great driving.
@eugew23 Жыл бұрын
It is only for the light test function that the signals flash at different speeds. They operate normally when you're driving!

The engine sounds good even in the front, at least on 40 ft buses and under. shame people don’t do this when recording onboard rides or drives of buses. Also do you think they should order buses with the Allison Transmission again?

Tell me, Eugene, do you just drive around in different buses for the fun of it? Is there not a real destination? At any event, I love taking these rides with you. Nice videos!

I like this bus much. It must have been made with very good quality since it is able to work for so long. I wonder if all those new modern electric buses will last as long or not 🤔
@Defianthuman6 ай бұрын
Most motors can last far longer than the batteries that energize them and batteries last at least 10 years on most EV's you can get a 2012 Tesla Model S with some degradation but plenty of usable range. Proper industrial motors can go for years of operation(like the ones use to pressurize the water supply) but I expect them to last a long time.

Is there a light on the dash to indicate a stop request? I thought it was there on Gilligs. Awesome video!

There are. Low-floors usually mount all indicator lights overhead.
