Notes:
-Since January 2024, Journal Square has been going through a lane reconstruction with Platform D being shut down. Platform A, which has been closed for bus service for many years was reopened during this project, serving Routes 64 (before April), 80, 87, and 319. Platform B has the 6, 8, 10, 14, 83, 119 (during this video). Platform C has the 1, 2, 80, 84, 87, 88, 119 (during this video), 125.
-Route 119 no longer enters the Journal Square terminal during the day. The route now only serves it during the late nights only using Platform B between 11:00 PM and 4:30 AM as the 119J. This was in response to the 119 having more trips that Journal Square couldn’t handle, and the long-term lane reconstruction at JSQ, resulting in many bus stop changes. Route 119 stops outside Journal Square along JFK Boulevard as a result.
-The Platform changes also resulted in Routes 64 and 67 being discontinued from Journal Square in its entirety.
-5278 is initially a Fairview bus (former Meadowlands). This day it was doing a trip on the 83. Occasionally, a Fairview bus will pop up on a Meadowlands route under a road call, loan, helper, or a Meadowlands run with Fairview equipment.
-18115 is now an Egg Harbor bus, originally from Meadowlands. Last summer, Meadowlands and Egg Harbor swapped majority their lavatory-18000 buses due to a mileage swap.

Those buses have aged terribly

Agree 100%. Outdated buses from day 1. No shock absorbers. Electrical malfunctions are common place.
