Great as usual but it sounds a lot like the Gt3... SRO uses the full Mistral track configuration not this one. A bit of track limits at Signes exit,mate.... Thanks,always a pleasure

Yea the AMG GT4 is like a GT3.5 if anything. It’s got the same gearbox as the GT3, racing electronics, and a few other track bits compared to the other GT4’s out there that still use road gearboxes etc. European track limits mate, almost anything goes. 😜

I’ve never seen a night version of Paul Ricard Onboard video yet, until now😎, it just feels amazing, isn’t it? Like the whole track is only belongs to U. Thanks Adam for bringing us such an unique onboard 👍 . PS: Looks like it was before 2018 or 19, the pit lane are still the old one, anyway, about the only headlights😂, very tough though, but after all..... U ‘had dominated VLN 24😎.

Yea you’re right, it was when the AMG GT4 first came out. And I think we did have the whole track to ourselves this night. The Nurburgring at night Is pretty lit up from all the spectators. Spa is tough in the night as the lights can’t be correct for the whole lap due to the huge elevation changes.

How is the Braking in this car compared to the AMG GT3 car? Is the AMG GT4 a quicker car than the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup Gen II in comparison? Thank you in advance for the answer :)

The Porsche cup car is quicker, they’re about 1/2 way Inbetween a GT3 and 4. The AMG GT4 feels like a heavier GT3 as it’s 100kg heavier, smaller tyres, higher ride height and less aero so the braking zones are generally longer and they roll a little bit more. But as far as GT4 cars go this things planted and really user friendly. That’s why it’s so popular for the endurance races.

Paul Ricard is great for testing, its got plenty of run off which some people will disagree with as they say it takes away some of the character and keeping it within the limits, but for testing new cars this place is spot on. learning the limits and beyond if they're ever needed.

You can do the AMG academy, building up from the road cars up to the AMG GT4 and GT3.

@@AdamChristo Yeah I thought about that but it's pretty expensive for me. I would first start in a beginner series and collect some experieces before starting in higher classes. Which series would you recommend as beginner friendly (except GT4)?

Yea night driving heightened all the senses. you really have to be on your toes a lot more, saying that, Paul Ricard is a great starting place for driving in the night as theres so much run off, and no blind corners with elevation changes ,saying that sometime that makes it a little difficult too as funding braking points when theres no scenery isn't easy.

yea, could be to do with the Turbo, the car is a little quieter so maybe the pop when it shifts seems louder. Either way both roar!
