Having some clear "missions" defined for each day is such a hack to improving your riding AND having a fulfilling day on the mountain. Love it 🎉

One thing that helped me get a lot better is speed. Going into things with more speed makes everything seem so much easier. Especially when it comes to hitting the whole rail and also spinning out.

Loving the vids! My partner and I started snowboarding for the first time last year and we've fallen in love with it so fast. Your vids are keeping me hyped until the next season begins 🏂Keep shreddin'!

Yo, love the hype. Just wanted to say, the “tail slide” would have to be done from the opposite of the rail, poppin up over the rail, lifting onto your back foot. If you’re approaching the rail and you set it onto your back foot without having to pull your tail up and lift it above, that would be a blunt slide. I think it’s important to know the names of tricks if you are reaching millions of people💕
@ryannpurvisАй бұрын
yo Garrett! Appreciate the knowledge! I completely agree about getting the trick names right, I'm stoked the homies will correct me in the comments because I definitely get confused a lot with trick names. The way you described it makes complete sense to me now! I was going for blunt 270 in this video. If I were to do tailslide 270, I would approach from the left side (riding Regular) hop over the tube(lifting my tail) and land on my back foot. Pretty sure I've had those 2 switched in my head my whole life lol Thanks bro!

I always thought going over the objective with your nose and slide on your tail is a blunt slide. Not popping over it is a tailslide. Same goes for Board and Lip Slide (with the Tail). Or maybe i just read your text wrong and thats what you said.

Stop riding the lift regular bro, even when you're not riding switch you should still ride the lifts switch just to develop the muscle memory, it all adds up

When I lived in Southern California and started skateboarding, I used to skate to the skatepark switch as it was a few miles downhill from my house. It helped a lot, I was actually better switch for a while because of it. Hahaha. When I started snowboarding later in life, all those drills really paid off. Excellent tip from you @xp8969 and keep up the shredding Ryan!
