POV SNAPPER ROCKS, FIRST SWELL OF THE YEAR

If you follow surfing you'd know the waves have been really good the last few days on the Gold Coast. I took the GoPro out with me this morning for a lap along the Superbank. First swell of the year in conjunction with the holiday period made for a busy lineup but I had some good fun on the waves I caught. Super raw and mostly unedited POV video from this mornings session. Hope you enjoy. I will try and post more videos on KZbin in 2024 for you guys so stay tuned!

Plenty of smaller days to get out there and get a feel for it, I learnt to surf down the line around Greenmount when I was younger and slowly moved up.

Thanks, really enjoyed watching that. Only surfed Dbah and Greenmount when I was there and it wasn't too busy. I'm from South Australia so not used to surfing with that many people in the water. Love the Gold Coast so can understand why everyone wants to live there and surf there.

I’ll stick to my south coast NSW UNCROWDED spots thank you. I turn up to my local breaks and there is no more than 5 cars in the parking area. Bugger QLD Not worth a trip these days! Even when I surfed Noosa in the early 70’s it was crowded. Give me solitude empty breaks any and every day. Big ego trip up there for some 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🥴🥴👎🏾

I’ve been surfing for 30 years, it’s always been crowded. That’s how surfing is, no one is going to just let you have the best waves, especially only 2 years in. When I was a grom, the older guys would only give us the scraps. Give it about 10 more years.
