Hello, I’m thinking of buying the same set of a7m2+ sigma 85 1.4, how is this camera doing with autofocus? Is it good enough for this type of street portrait photography?

It's a great pair, the auto focus is not the best but it works well in good lightning. If you can afford it, then buy a used a7iii. They have dropped in price a lot

Ooo nice one! And one piece of advice is to get used to the camera and to set up the custom buttons to your liking and it will greatly improve the user experience with the camera. I have the scroll wheel set to ISO and it saves a lot of time.

They do have the same auto focus system, the a7ii is just a little bit faster

It's a great camera! If you can get it for a good price then go for it. Otherwise save up a little bit more and get the a7iii!

Thanks Man! and no, they are both native glass for the Sony E Mount. They are the "DG DN" Which is the new flagship line of sigma glass.
