You have to request it with your dealership once you get an allocation. It’s considered a BMW individual paint.

Nice spec. However, I fail to see the allure of CC brakes besides caliper color. Rotor replacement costs are astronomical when compared to steel. Performance differences are nominal until the CCs get hot. If CCs were advantageous, I think you would see them used more in IMSA, WEC, etc.

The rotors and pads will outlast the steel brakes, there’s little to no dust, and I wanted the gold caliper color. It’s not a money thing for me. You’re thinking too deeply about it.

I absolutely loved Isle of Man green. I think it’s the signature color for the G80 generation like Yadi’s Marina blue was for the F80! I would rank iDrive 7 as better than iDrive 8. And I would rank iDrive 8.5 as the best overall. Honestly buying a certified pre owned 2022 M3 or M4 xDrive with iDrive 7 would be a great move!

I believe the July allocations went out last week for the first builds of the ‘25 LCI G80. You should be able to call dealers and get on the waitlist for the August allocations!

Yes satin PPF will never perfectly replicate OEM frozen black, and for me, it’s a personal feel good thing to be able to custom order and own an individual bmw paint car!

Never seen the channel before and this just popped up on my feed. Was there something wrong with the '24 you had? Typically, with modifications the depreciation is insane trading in a vehicle to a main dealer. Seems like it would be a HUGE loss of money trading in a 1 year old modded G82 Comp xDrive just to get the LCI. Couldn't you just retrofit the new vents, taillights, headlights, and get an even better steering wheel for way cheaper than trading in the car? I went from an '18 F82 to a '22 8Y RS3 and now I'm trying to get an allocation for the '25 8.5Y coming this year in the same Kyalami Green exterior with matching interior I have now. But I feel like the RS3 situation is a little different because 8Y RS3's hold value like a rock bolted down to the ground. So I'll only lose $5k to get a 3 year newer car with a completely refreshed exterior. Don't take offense please. I'm genuinely tryna understand if there was something in the LCI G82 I'm unaware of? Did the dealer give you a deal you couldn't resist and begged for your '24 back? Was there a mechanical issue? I feel like the Isle of Man green and Kyalami Orange buckets is the #1 most sought after combo. This whole situation just seems odd to me is all. 😂

There was nothing wrong with the '24, but I had already put almost 30,000 miles on it within one year and I was leasing it. I was able to get a good discount off the msrp of that car and my new car, and I went ahead and purchased the LCI so that I don't have to worry about the miles. Also, I really wanted the opportunity to order a BMW individual paint color car - and I'm in love with the frozen black over fiona red combo! No offense taken!

New one in frozen black with red interior is very nice, but in my opinion(please don't be offended), there is no comparison with Isle of man green with orange interior. Curvatures are simply much more visible and better with green or portimao blue or some other individual colour. Easier to clean, great on bad wetter. Stains on frozen colors are terrible for me, very hard to clean. I had similar decision to make, and I send to 10 friends different configurations and real pictures from net, and 8 from 10 friends has the same opinion about this - green+ orange,, 1 for portimao blue but there is no great interior color to match(just black, silverstone is hard to mantain), 1 had green+black, non has chosen frozen black and grey. But it is great that you like it and I understand that any colour that is perfect will be boring in few months, so change is inevitable. I would do the same when changing to similar car, but maybe to some other special color that is easier to mantain and that hase more curvature presence on cloudy wetter.

I have an excellent PPF installers here in the Phx Az area that i've used for other cars. What did you end up paying for that service there? Of course ceramic coating over the PPF is a must..Love the channel and content..

I can't justify trading in my 2022 G82 Xdrive, which I financed at under 2% with BMW, given my credit score of over 800. With new rates over 5%, it just doesn't make sense for me. I'd definitely recommend a full tune over the JB4. There are also aftermarket taillights that replicate the look of the OEM laser taillights while costing like $700 instead of $7000. I swapped out cars because I wanted an individual paint (frozen black) and I bought this car while I was leasing the previous car. I no longer have to worry about the miles I put on it!
