85 mph on the flat .. wow. That's a genuine 78 or so. Amazing on a 250 that weighs about 170kg.

so, where did you exit the tunnel, Helsinki? I have the same scooter. Would not trade it for the newer model. 2018 had some serious engine problems. I am getting close to 50k with no issues. Very reliable bike! Perfect for city and long trips

I see one here same one with 63,000 Kms, is this too many kms ? it's a 2009 for 1500 Euro's, I am just waiting for my learner permit, then have to get 16 hrs training before I'm allowed on the road, have to pass this training. I'm sure the trainer is only going to have a manual bike but I really want a scooter for more comfort and better wind protection. How would this scooter be on smaller country roads with less than perfect surface, throw in some hills ? I'm not interested in mad acceleration or speed but would like it to be able to climb 12-16% at more than 50 Km/hr and without it sounding like it will die.

Im no expert but ill try answer you, i didnt like scooters at all actually since you dont get support for the legs and front pelvis, so i ended up getting a yamaha xt660 again which is way more comfy for longer rides and now i have a versys 650 which is about the same. I think the km is pretty darn much for that price, but if its very well maintained with all the paper proof then maybe ok. For me i dont care so much about wind protection, the big tanks and small original windscreens on the bikes i mentioned are enough for me, i think getting a good quiet helmet is more important and msybe ride with ear plugs or headphones and just learn to deal with the wind 😆 This scooter is kind of bumpy and not very comfy on bumpy roads. I think it would be no problem to go that fast on those hills with this bike as long as u dont load it too heavy, the transmission makes the bike really strong and efficient

@@drivingbro Thanks for the detailed reply. I'm still waiting for my learner permit to come 😞 After doing more research it turns out I have to take the test on a bike with at least 595 cc and 50 Kw, I am going for the A license with is the top license here in Ireland but I had not expected that I must ride such a powerful bike to begin with, although I can ride any bike I want, be it 125, 250 or 1100 cc but to actually take the test it must be minimum 595 cc and minimum 50 Kw. That kind of scares me lol. So I will really have to look for a bike that I can get used to to pass the test.
