Yea that’s mostly called a Mega-tractor and you have (you didn’t expect it) Mega-trailers. Those trailers have smaller tyres too. And I didn’t know this: Ewals Cargo has designed the trailer in the 90’s. But, to keep it simple; they’re made to load more in one trailer. In Europe the most trucks are under the 4 meters. So they had to create a trailer that can go through bridges. The most bridges are under the 4,5 meters high. So they created a trailer that has a floor that is lower so they could load more. Edit: and they can go through bridges because they’re mostly 4 meters high
