Thank you so much for posting these videos, im currently in a different line of work and am considering making the switch to trucking... the things you describe are a great insight and actually what i would be looking for maybe, not getting bothered too much by annoying customers, beeing alone most of the time... just recently stumbled upon your channel, enjoying these videos so far, you seem very chill and your pov is great! greetings from kreis euskirchen (you went literally next to my old workplace in one of your videos where you drove to euskirchen ! ) =) ps: Great german btw! the "moin" caught me off guard haha!

The truck industry isn't easy at all. But if you like what you're doing, it's like an addiction... As a truck driver, you are allowed to decide what kind of work you wanna do. You can choose between getting home every day, once a week, or staying outside for a few weeks. The customers aren't no problem at all. This week, I wasn't in a good mood 😒. Normally, I try to stay cool, but then I realise that I'm supporting the wrong project 😅. I apologise if I've said anything that I shouldn't have said, but I'm just a human. Nobody is perfect. ps: Manchmal denke ich mal, dass mein Deutsch besser als mein Englisch ist. Schöne Grüße aus Hamburg

@@Youtrucker_pt oh definitly, but i feel like this would suit me more... ofc there is the stress factor of finding parking some days, or even a place to shower etc. but my current job just doesnt fulfill me and it frustrates me.. i started as a car mechanic but abandoned that soon after because the company was completely shit... and now for several years im doing plumbing/heating/solar stuff, and since the floods happened in our area, the customers at first were super grateful and welcoming etc. but now we slowly overcome all the flood customers which were the happiest and nicest people to finally have us work for them, but now we get all the mad customers who never had a single water droplet in their house, calling us for the dumbest shit, and then beeing disrespectful and complicated with us for no reason etc.... ive always loved cars and trucks and i often also play truck sims with a wheel, purely for the challenge of backing into places or squeezing through tight places etc. i feel like i would have more fun and less stress in that industry than i have currently... also another question for you, i hope im not annoying haha. out of all the trucks you have driven so far (eu trucks that is) which ones do you recommend the most, like the most? again, thanks for all your videos and your open thoughts in them, love to listen to you and your truck hehe

@MrDoKo0 until now, I have only driven EU trucks. The truck I love at most is the Volvo I'm driving now. The comfort, the way it drives, the power... it's an amazing truck. The Actros Mp5 was the truck that surprised me at most. Lots of technology and space, and it looks amazing. The driving position and the mirrorcam weren't so good. But it was a great driving experience and I had a lot of fun.

Its the same here in Portugal. Most of the bosses wants drivers press REST when unloading. Beside ilegal its unrespectfull for the whorker.

Claro que o patrão agradece... Um gajo trabalha e as horas que um gajo perde na carga ou descarga não são pagas... Eu chamo a isso trabalho a custo zero. Eu perguntei ao meu se eu podia ficar um mês em casa e receber os subsídios todos. Ele riu e respondeu que se não trabalho não recebo dinheiro. Por isso comecei a trabalhar conforme a lei. Não gosto mas teve de comer e calar a boca. "Sem dinheiro não há trabalho" foi o que eu lhe disse.

I could went to Canada because it's easy to get green card but in Canada you will earn almost half of salary in USA so it doesn't make any sense.

@@Dropsen1 That's why I decided not to go to Canada. It's easier to get in but I was doing math and realised that it wasn't worth it. If I could work so many hour as they work in Canada I would do the same money 🤷‍♂️.
