@@TasleemKhan-gz8rt it depends. Some companies pay more and some explore the drivers. It's hard to tell you a precise number. There are many factors to consider. The experience, if you are doing local, if you are driving 3 weeks straight, what kind of loads do you have and many others. In a good company you shouldn't get less than 3.5K/month after taxes.

How hard would it be for a Canadian to become a truck driver in Europe?

@@dakota3847 unfortunately it's really hard. It's easier the other way around. You will need a company that sponsors you or you will have to marry someone to be able to get a resident visa. After that you will need to go to a driving school and do new driving license because with your CDL you cannot drive in Europe. In Germany you can expect to spend over 17K just to get your C+E category which is equivalent to your CDL.

I find it odd you guys dont have dome sory of lock on the trailer over there. In canada we use a steel cable lock. It coes on after the trailer is loaded. And only comes off when being recieved by the customer.

@@Burnt_clutch89 sometimes we do it as well, but most of the time we don't. In Canada, you drive a box trailer, most of the time. We, Europeans prefer to drive side curtains and usually when you use a lock you are telling the burglars that your load is expensive. You will probably get robbed and end with a hole on the curtains. It's almost the same like the diesel. If you lock your tank they will drill a hole to steal it from you. Better leave everything open to avoid damage.
