They put the triple layer on, thats the really sticky stuff to last a little longer as you are taking off, to help get through any low atmospheric ice fog or drizzle fog. Really fascinating Eye. Great vid.

WestJet has come with a great plan, after April 29th, they are cancelling the flight from Moncton, NB to Toronto, ON, but they are keeping the flight from Moncton to Calgary, so to gewt to Toronto from Moncton, you'll have to fly to Calgary first and get a connection to Toronto, and to get to Moncton from Toronto on WestJet you'll have to fly to Calgary and get the connection. Marketing at it's greatest. 3 trucks to do a 787! We used to do the Boeing 707s with 2 trucks at CFB Trenton, and we were out in the open buckets and the enclosed aerial cabs they have now.

Been on dozens and dozens of fights being deiced inside as a passenger! Looks impressive from passengers' perspective from the inside but it sure looks even more impressive from the outside from the Deicing truck's point! You are the man, Eyetrapper!!
