Agreed if you have 6+ deaths as any hero in Competitive best to go to quick play and fix that, In comp you have to stay alive as much ad possible

Mercy feels so amazing when your team knows how to play and knows how to take advantage of your support. At the same time it's a nightmare when you have a clueless team that doesn't know how to play the game, let alone how to make use of your Mercy. SoloQ as Mercy is just pain :( She is easily the hardest support to climb with in soloQ because she's so dependent on the team. With any other support you can at least somewhat carry the game yourself if your team happens to be bad. But with Mercy it's sadly just an auto loss. If your dps and tank have 0 game sense and don't have aim, you can be the #1 Mercy in the world and you'd still lose... I really love Mercy and want to climb with her, but soloQ is just unbearable 85% of the time. Whenever I play with some of my friends it's amazing and we win most comp games, but the moment I start a Mercy soloQ it all goes downhill...

i’ve had such terrible teams back to back today and last night that i’m not playing til the new mercy skin comes out. i’ve honestly never gotten this frustrated at this game before, i try my best to trust my other supports but they don’t heal the tank and instead either flank the whole game, or is supporting the dps that i was already supporting leaving the tank by themselves. i’ve been having dps who even with my damage boost don’t get any kills, which i get getting kills is hard but the fact i keep getting them back to back is annoying, and they get demolished by the other team constantly. and the nice cherry on top is i keep getting aggressive tanks, who go in and don’t wait for the other support to help them. plus the whole team keeps going in one by one, while i will regroup- or at least try to but them going in one by one makes it a little harder. i’ve never had such bad games back to back before, all the while my tanks will complain about the heals while i’m trying my best as mercy, who isn’t supposed to solely be healing the tank anyway. it’s super annoying. sorry for the rant haha.

i genuinely think the game is broken, because i’m diamond elo and have the EXACT issue, deranked all the way to plat when i went on a lost streak with dps players who, for ten games in a row, went negative or just threw and left. this game is genuinely busted.

Unfortunately, i found this happens a lot in lower ranks for me :( i dont get to play mercy as much until i smell a well performing team member who can dps well (i actually count the second support here!). In the cases like you mention, i usually choose ana or kiri to compensate for my other supports lack of healing (was super frustrated w a dps moira, guy literally disappeared start of fight to go with our sombra... tank had not enough heals and immediately rhe fight fell apart). Mercy doesnt have playmaking potential on her own rn and i usually have no choice but to go someone who can decide fights on their own much earlier on which super sucks

i swear tanks are one of the biggest reasons i lose games. sure im not a perfect player but i think i do a good job of helping everyone as much as i can and i don't die a lot. but some tanks really think they can just 1v5 the entire enemy team and then bitch when we can't save them.
